</p><p>Er war Autor Dutzender akademischer Schriften und Bücher über <a href="Geldpolitik" title="Geldpolitik">Geldpolitik</a> und die <a href="Federal_Reserve_Bank" class="mw-redirect" title="Federal Reserve Bank">Federal Reserve Bank</a> („Fed“) und galt als einer der weltweit führenden Experten zu Fragen, wie man Geldpolitik entwickelt und anwendet.<sup id="cite_ref-4" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-4"><span class="cite-bracket">[</span>4<span class="cite-bracket">]</span></a></sup>
